Fuerteventura is a tiny Canary Island which I visited this Summer. I went to a small town called Caleta De Fuste. It’s not my usual type of holiday and here is why…
- It has a man-made beach. – I’m used to natural beaches. However, the rocks and rock pools around the edge of the island make it look beautiful.
- It’s very windy! – I love the warmth, however the breeze makes it much easier to sunbathe in the heat.
- There was literally no one there my age. – I went with my mum and she is fun so it’s ok. However, most people were older than me and liked bingo (which I don’t mind)!
- It’s full of British people. – Even the locals are British! I normally go on holidays where I get to experience a different culture.
Even though it wasn’t my usual place to visit, I would go again! It’s so nice to chill in a place where you can talk to everyone and have everything on your doorstep.
If you visit Caleta, you must rent scooters and go along the seafront. It’s breathtaking.
You must also visit Fado Rock! It’s the best restaurant in the area.
Here is a few more snaps from my holiday with mum.
