Now, Chvrches aren’t the type of band I would usually listen to but I am now a big fan of their music. I first heard of Chvrches a few years back when my old boss would listen to them on repeat in the office. I didn’t really understand them until I saw them live at Latitude. The atmosphere when they play is insane, you have to see them!
In February my old boss invited me to watch Chvrches with him again. I couldn’t say no, it’s such a great gig! It was even better this time as it was at the Ally Pally. This venue is the bollocks, especially for a gig.
We headed down to London on the train drinking beer out of bottles. When we arrived in London we met up with Sam’s auntie and friend who took us to Tomos. It’s about a 5-minute bus journey from the venue and its food is delish! I had squid for starters then a prawn linguine pasta for main, accompanied with a bottle of Malbec.
We then headed to the venue and started sipping beers and dancing the night away. My favourite Chvrches song of the new album has to be Get Out! Listen to them on Spotify!
