If you read my last blog post, you will know that I was gravitating towards negativity in life. After attending an ‘Introduction to NLP’ training day I have finally got myself back on the right path to positivity.
NLP is so bloody interesting. It just makes sense. We are in control of the way we feel and the emotions we create. It’s true when we feel a certain way that we don’t like, all we have to do is change the state we are in! There are many methods for doing this which I learnt on the induction day with Wendy Smith and David Paul Williams. If you would like to find out more about NLP and their training days just click on their names and it will take you to their Facebook pages.
Since this day I have made a conscious effort to change my routine and thoughts to make my life much for positive and happier. Here are a few things that I have adjusted and added to my daily routine:
Meditation in the morning and in the evening – I do a morning meditation to set me up for my day and a night time one to relax and appreciate the day I have had as well as setting a good expectation on the day ahead.
Daily goals – I have a weekly sheet that I complete! Take a look at it and comment below if you would like me to send you a copy to use.
Anchoring – Anchoring is a technique I learnt at the NLP day. It ables you to create a state of emotion that you would like to be in and be able to go into that state at any time! This week I am focusing on being confident.
Eating well – Diet is so important. It’s so true – ‘ You are what you eat!’
Enough sleep – I like to have 10 hours sleep, however, I can function on 8 so I aim for 8-10 hours sleep a night.
These are such simple things that I have implemented, yet I feel incredibly better for it! I am interested to know what other people do on a daily basis to ensure they have the best day possible. Leave your ideas and doings in the comment box below.
Thanks for reading.
