St Georges Day

There is nothing I love more than spending time with people that mean the world to me. On Sunday, my parents and two close friends went out for lunch to celebrate St Georges Day.

We went to The Hare and Hounds pub in Layer Breton. There was a Sunday lunch menu which catered for everyone! I had a prawn cocktail for starters and the lamb shank served as a roast for main. I was so full after two courses I couldn’t manage a pudding. The rest of my party had a dessert and they were highly impressed.

At 4PM a live band started called The Hit List. They were fantastic, they played a wide variety of music that had me up on my feet after a couple of drinks.

The sun was shining, everyone was happy and the day was one I won’t forget. After all, it’s all about creating memories with people you love.
